One of her earliest works, a painting of a village girl inspired by women from suburban areas, marked the beginning of her artistic exploration. Over time, she created numerous artworks to adorn her home, gradually realizing her deep passion for painting. As the years passed, Ciya's love for art evolved into a profound dedication, driving her to refine her craft and establish herself as a professional artist. 

After over a decade in the corporate world, Ciya Pawa made a bold transition to pursue her passion for art, founding Soaked in Canvas in 2021. Based in New Delhi, her work reflects themes of spirituality, nature, and its boundless beauty. She believes art has the power to heal and sees painting as a profound mode of self-expression.​
